Job Gijsbrechts is a scenographer and set and costume designer.

He explores the interaction between space, the body, costume, object and action. He plays with contexts and materials to create an often minimalistic image with depth and air to breathe.


​He finished his bachelors degree in Theater Design at the ‘Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht’ (HKU). And he got a masters degree in Costume Design at the ‘Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp’, for which he got awarded with the Boghossian Foundation Prize and the Lon Landau Prize.
